SOAR Enterprises

SOAR Enterprises, set up in 2004 is the wholly owned subsidiary of SOAR and the trading arm.

SOAR Enterprises’ focus is on creating wealth through establishing social enterprises that create
training and employment for local people and/or generating surpluses that can be fed back into
funding the work of SOAR.

The Knutton Road Managed Workspace Project is the main SOAR Enterprises project.

SOAR Enterprises is also a partner in two joint venture companies: SOAR Build and Green
City Enterprises (GCE)

SOAR Build

SOAR Build, a commercial Joint Venture between SOAR Enterprises and Keepmoat plc
is a unique partnership between public and private sectors. It provides training opportunities
in plastering, tiling and painting to local people.

SOAR Build's mission is 'To be a successful business supporting the construction industry
through local employment and construction training programmes thus creating opportunities
for wealth and economic regeneration in the local community'.
