Southey and Owlerton Area Regeneration

A big part of SOAR's mission is to make sure that local people lead the regeneration process that will make Southey Owlerton a place that people are proud of. We are committed to acting on local people's ideas for improving the quality of life in Southey and Owlerton.

There are lots of ways that you can get involved with SOAR and your local community:

• Come along to one of our theme groups.
• Do some volunteering. We are in the process of developing a menu of volunteering opportunities for the Southey Owlerton area - watch this space!
• Write an article for 5Alive, our community magazine.
• Attend a SOAR Board meeting.

SOAR has also developed an engagement strategy for the Southey & Owlerton area in partnership with the Council which gives guidance on carrying out engagement in the SOAR area.
