5ALIVE - ABOUT

5Alive is a not-for-profit community magazine, delivered free, six times a year to locations in North Sheffield.

5Alive offers local residents a positive portrayal of their area, focussing on achievement and success with an aim to increase confidence and self-esteem in the community. The magazine has served SOAR as an effective community engagement tool, increasing awareness of:

Services and opportunities
Local groups and community activities

Regular contributors include Sheffield Homes, North Sheffield Regeneration Team, NHS Sheffield and North East Community Assemblies, but there is always plenty of addiional space available for articles and complimentary photos from local residents, community groups and organisations.

5Alive is currently distributed from local libraries, GP surgeries, community owned buildings, nurseries, schools and churches.
